If you wanna know
Don't ask why
I will be your shield
So you could just hide
Give me your head and I'll put it on mine
You could be saved for just this small price
If only we could show them the way
Maybe you could help
Tell them what I say
We could be together upstairs one day
But if you go down, it's your fault anyway
I am righteous
So you could be right
If you follow me
Through the pitch black night
Look no further; it's right in front of your eyes
I'll be the one in the sheep's wool disguise
If only we could show them the way
Maybe you could help
Tell them what I say
And we could be together upstairs one day
But if you go down, it's your fault anyway

Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine

such a fun album that feels so comfortable and relatable. I specifically like the intro to this song because I take it as a positive reminder that women are sensual and fun but also strong, independent, and free haha Baylee Nguyen
