Speak up please
I'll turn down the noise
You have a seat
Because we
Haven't got much time
Let's skip the tea
So tell me
What's been on your mind
What do you see
Why do I feel like you've
Got it much more figured out
Than I do
Shade me when the sun is out
I just wonder how
You turn me upside down
I hear you
But I cannot make sense
Out of the truth
Our concrete tomb
Cannot keep you
Keep on fighting through

Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
Montreal psych-pop veterans sound as infectious and hypnotic as ever on their seventh LP, slinging jangly riffs and bright vocal harmonies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2024

such a fun album that feels so comfortable and relatable. I specifically like the intro to this song because I take it as a positive reminder that women are sensual and fun but also strong, independent, and free haha Baylee Nguyen
